Communication and interaction between humans via speech and music is the unifying theme of research and teaching within our department. We are organized in research groups working in speech communication, speech technology, and sound and music computing (music acoustics). The overall goal of the research is a fundamental understanding of the processes involved in human communication, and how they could be modeled and supported.
