In these years interactive and electronic music is taking on
several traits from real-time multimedia. The lecture will briefly
discuss the consequences for music making, including an overview of
interactive music´s new, extended disciplinary context. A resulting
interaction model emphasizing human music performance will be discussed,
and then contextualized in embodied interaction through examples of
functioning real-time performance systems.
