Measuring the harmonics-to-noise ratio in voice signals at high frequencies

The harmonics-to-noise ratio (HNR) has been used as a measure of the irregularity of the voice signal to assess its quality in an objective way. However, as the frequency range of interest grows, the irregularities of the voice signal make the task barely possible. In this work, different approaches to the problem have been tested in order to derive a method that is robust to these irregularities.
