Hi,
for quite some time I have some echo when I playback sound files at the end of the files.
It occurs not all the time (for the same file during the same session), but still very often.

I am using Wavesurfer 1.5.7, but this problem caught my attention quite some time ago.
I used to run RedHat 8, but recently updated to Fedora Core1. And I am using ALSA.

Is this problem know? Is there anything I can do?

Thanks
Martin

We have no reports of this problem.

Have you compiled Snack yourself or do you use the binary?

Hi,
for a long time I haven't read this. Thanks for the answer.

Well, i am using the binary and have just changed to version 1.6.1 but the problem is still here. It doesn't happen all the time, but still very frequently.

I'm seeing similar problems. I recently upgraded to 1.6.1 on a Mac (10.3). There appears to be a buffering problem...I'm not sure whether the previous buffer is not flushed (so that the apparant 'echo' is actually a little bit of the last thing that was played), or whether something screwy happens towards the end of the playback (sampling rate doubling?). I suspect both might be happening.
