Hi,

I am currently writing a plugin for wavesurfer to be able to connect to our MTG database (currently in development), but it uses libraries like tclxml, tclsoap, ... which are common in the latest distribution of tcl/tk, but not included for instance in the binaries of wavesurfer (or, for that matters, in the debian distribution of tcl/tk...).

So my question is: is there an easy way to compile a standalone wavesurfer binary that would include all the necessary libraries? I know this question has been asked last year, just wanted to know if there was any update about it. It would be really nice as the installation of the plugin can really be a pain in the ass sometimes, and we'd like to make it as easy as possible...

Thanks in advance!

We use TclKit to "compile" WaveSurfer.
Downloads and info at http://www.equi4.com/tclkit.html

and pack them!!! So convenience!

Thanks!

It's rather neat (espially compared to earlier packaging methods). Works almost all the time...
