gnargh, icon_mad.gif
i need some help ...!!

when trying to run wavesurfer 1.6.4 under win2k there comes an error message:
couldn't write to c:\winnt\temp

In our environment this is correct behaviour - the users mustn't write to c:\winnt\temp as non-privileged users...

Is there any chance to tell wavesurfer to use a different directory as temp-directory??

desperated,

Axel

On my machine I get
C:\Documents and Settings\Kåre Sjölander\.wavesurfer\1.6

Try setting the environment variable TEMP (from a comand shell) to someplace writeable before starting WaveSurfer.
I'll have a look at this when I get back in the office early June, can't remember the real cure off hand, got a three day old baby to change nappies on now icon_wink.gif
