WaveSurfer is released as open source, under a BSD style license.

The distributions below are rarely needed, the plug-ins can be installed from within WaveSurfer and there should be no need to download them separately.

Sphere plug-in which adds NIST/Sphere file format handler, binaries for Linux i386 and Windows (184K) [sphere.tar.gz] [sphere.zip]

Ogg (v1.0) plug-in which adds Ogg/Vorbis file format handler, binaries for Linux i386 and Windows (365K) [ogg.tar.gz] [ogg.zip]

Older versions of WaveSurfer can be downloaded if you type in the full path name, e.g. http://www.speech.kth.se/wavesurfer/wavesurfer-147-win.exe
