Roberto Bresin

My main research interests are expressive music performance, emotion in sound and music performance, interactive sonification. My research at this department began in August 1996, thanks to a one-year TMR-Marie Curie fellowship from the European Union. In 2000 I received a PhD in Music Acoustics, with a thesis entitled Virtual Virtuosity - Studies in automatic music performance.

Before coming to TMH, I was research engineer at Centro di Sonologia Computazionale - CSC of Padova University, Italy, for 5 years.
