Audio settings
When you press and hold down
the left button, in the applet below, the audio device starts to record
audio from your microphone. You should adjust the input gain until you
have a good signal which does not extend beyond the red lines. You should
also listen to the recording in order to adjust the play volume to a comfortable
level.
Use the sliders above
to adjust input gain and play volume.
You can also use the
audio control program of your workstation (necessary for Windows and SGI).
