Harold A. Conklin Jr. was with the Baldwin Piano and Organ Co. for many years, initially as a piano research engineer and finally as Director of Piano Research. He has held about twenty U.S. and foreign patents relating to pianos, and is the designer of several pianos that are in current production, as well as many experimental instruments. He is currently a piano design consultant.
